Yes, this happens sometimes when Google pulls Street View or user-uploaded images automatically. Did you try setting your uploaded photo as the cover photo inside your Business Profile?
Yes, I already selected the correct cover photo, but Google still shows the wrong building in search results.
Google doesn’t always guarantee the selected cover photo will appear publicly. Their system sometimes chooses images based on engagement or relevance.
It updated automatically after about 10 days. I also asked a few customers to upload real photos of the storefront.
I had the same problem with my restaurant. What helped was uploading several high-quality storefront photos from different angles.
Did Google update it automatically after that, or did you contact support?
