A small black line on a monitor usually means the display panel is faulty.
In cases I’ve seen this happen when some pixels inside the LCD or OLED panel stop working.
This creates a fixed line that doesn’t go away.
It can be vertical or horizontal.
The line can appear if the screen gets damaged, hit or worn out over time.
Even if the screen looks fine otherwise the line can still show up.
One way to check if its a hardware issue is to take a screenshot.
If the line isn’t in the screenshot but is, on the screen the monitors hardware is the problem.
It’s not the graphics card or software.
Usually this problem can’t be fixed at home.
You might need to replace the panel or get a monitor.

In case your job requires you to conduct calls with clients, interviews, or presentations, an upgrade to a camera like Logitech MX Brio or Insta360 Link 2C can definitely be justified due to higher quality of image and improved low-light performance.
Still, the best possible way to enhance the quality of your video stream would have nothing to do with any expensive equipment – it’s all about lighting and positioning of the camera.

Yep, there’s an easy way to do it, and honestly, it’s pretty useful when you need to return a call but don’t want to hand out your personal number right away.
On an iPhone 17 Pro:
Open Settings
Go to Apps → Phone
Tap Show My Caller ID
Turn it Off
After that, most people will see something like “No Caller ID” or “Private Number” when you call.
For your little bro’s Android 16 phone:
Open the Phone app
Tap the menu (⋮) and go to Settings
Look for Caller ID or Additional/Supplementary Settings
Choose Hide Number
The exact menu can vary depending on whether it’s a Samsung, Pixel, OnePlus, etc., but the option is usually there.
What I personally do when it’s just a one-time call: instead of hiding my number permanently, I use *67 before dialing the number (if my carrier supports it). That blocks caller ID for that single call only, so I don’t have to remember to turn the setting back on later.

I’ve dealt with Steam Cloud errors a few times, and in most cases the problem was either a connection issue or a sync conflict between my PC and Steam’s servers. The error can be annoying because it usually appears when Steam is unable to upload or download your saved game data correctly.
The first thing I usually do is restart Steam completely and check my internet connection. It sounds simple, but temporary network issues are often the cause. After that, I make sure Steam Cloud is actually enabled by going to Steam Settings → Cloud and verifying that cloud synchronization is turned on.
Another thing that has helped me is checking whether Steam’s servers are having problems. Sometimes the issue isn’t on your end at all, and the cloud service may be temporarily unavailable. Waiting a little while and trying again can often resolve the error.
If the problem continues, I try verifying the game’s files through Steam. Corrupted game files can sometimes interfere with cloud synchronization. I’ve also had cases where logging out of Steam and signing back in fixed the issue by forcing a fresh sync.
In situations where Steam reports a cloud sync conflict, I carefully compare the local save files with the cloud version before choosing which one to keep. Selecting the wrong version can overwrite your progress, so it’s worth taking a moment to check the dates and timestamps.
Overall, most Steam Cloud errors are caused by sync conflicts, internet issues, corrupted files, or temporary server problems. Restarting Steam, checking Cloud settings, verifying game files, and waiting for server issues to clear up are usually the most effective fixes. If none of those work, reinstalling Steam or contacting Steam Support may be the next step.
