Looking for recommendations between BM3, MG Flasher, JB4, custom tuning, etc. Interested in power, reliability, drivability, logging/features, and overall support for upgraded turbo setups.
Would love to hear real-world experiences and pros/cons.

For an F30 with the B48 engine, most people consider bootmod3 the best overall Stage 3 tuning platform because of its strong custom tuning support, large community, easy flashing, and reliable OTS/custom maps.
MHD is also popular, especially on 6-cylinder BMWs, but several community discussions mention limited or no proper B48 support compared to BM3.
A lot of B48 owners also recommend:
BM3 + custom tuner for big turbo setups
MG Flasher as a cheaper alternative
xHP for transmission tuning alongside ECU tuning
For a true Stage 3 build, you’ll usually want:
Upgraded turbo
Downpipe
Intercooler
HPFP/fueling upgrades
Custom dyno/e-tune
Most community feedback leans toward BM3 for the best balance of power, reliability, and tuner availability on the B48 platform.
