The Bambu Lab A1 Mini is a pretty good pick since it’s simple to get going, dependable, and it makes really nice prints with only small amounts of tweaking or none at all. If you want something more budget friendly then the Creality Ender 3 V3 SE is also a decent choice, even if it tends to need a bit more hands on learning.

I’d say go with PLA filament too, because it’s easier to print and is usually the most kid friendly option around. Just remember adult supervision is still important, since the nozzle and heated bed can get painfully hot.

Yes, you can check CPU and GPU usage from your phone, but what you can actually do depends a lot on if you are on Android , or iPhone.

On Android, you can turn on Developer Options and then use the built-in stuff like Profile GPU Rendering or System Tracing to see how things are behaving. If you would rather have a more straightforward readout , with live numbers, apps such as CPU Monitor , DevCheck, and GameBench can display CPU activity, GPU load, device temperature, RAM usage, and sometimes even which apps are using the most resources.

On iPhone, it feels a bit more constricted. iOS usually doesn’t give regular users a built-in way to view real-time CPU and GPU stats. But if you have a Mac, you can plug your iPhone in and then use Xcode Instruments, for deeper performance charts and traces. There are also some App Store tools that show basic system info, however Apple tends to restrict access to more detailed CPU and GPU tracking.

So, if you’re on Android, you have multiple easy options to watch CPU and GPU directly on-device. If you’re on iPhone, you will often rely on developer tooling like Xcode when you want a more detailed look.

If your Instagram messages start showing this black screen out of nowhere, it’s usually because of a short lived app hiccup, a bug from a recent update, or some sort of trouble with the app’s saved cached data.

There are a couple of things you can try, like really basics first:

Try force closing Instagram, then open it again.
See if Instagram has an update waiting in the store.
On Android, clear the app cache. On iPhone, reinstall the app if needed.
Restart your phone, just in case.
Confirm your device operating system is current and not behind.
Also check if Instagram is having a broader problem, like an outage that is impacting DMs.

If this started right after you updated Instagram, then it might be that the app needs to patch that bug in a later version, because yeah, it can happen.

      1) Maybe refresh the page, or do a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R).
      2) Also, clear your browser cache and cookies for Wplace (yeah it matters).
      3) Try opening Wplace in Incognito mode, just to rule out extensions.
      4) Temporarily disable any VPN , proxy, or ad blocker you might have running.
      5) Then test it on a different browser or even a different network if you can.
      6) And check whether other folks are seeing the same problem, because that usually signals Wplace’s servers are struggling.

If none of that ends up working, then it’s likely an outage on their side and it’s just a waiting game until everything is back to normal. That’s basically what fixed it for me

A sudden pink tint on a PC screen is usually caused by either a cable/connection issue, a display setting change, a graphics driver problem, or a failing display/monitor component. A sudden pink tint on a PC screen is usually caused by either a cable/connection issue, a display setting change, a graphics driver problem, or a failing display/monitor component. The good news is you can narrow it down fairly quickly.

      1. Check cable and connection first (very common)

A loose or damaged cable (HDMI/DisplayPort/VGA) can cause missing color channels, which often shows up as a pink/purple tint.

Turn off the PC and firmly reconnect both ends of the cable
Try a different cable if possible
If you’re using a desktop, also try a different port on the GPU/monitor
      2. Test if it’s software or hardware
Restart and check if the pink tint appears in the BIOS/boot screen:
If it’s pink even before Windows loads → likely hardware (monitor/cable/GPU output)
If it appears only after Windows starts → likely software/driver/settings
      3. Check display settings

Sometimes color settings get changed accidentally:

Disable Night light / blue light filter in Windows 10/11
Reset any custom color profiles in display settings
Check GPU control panels for color adjustments:
      NVIDIA Control Panel
      AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition
      Intel Graphics Command Center
      4. Update or reinstall graphics drivers

A corrupted or buggy driver can distort colors.

Update your GPU driver or reinstall it cleanly if needed.
      5. Rule out monitor hardware issue

If none of the above helps and the tint is still present even across devices or inputs, the monitor itself could be failing (panel or internal circuitry).

      Quick summary:
      Most common fix: loose/failed cable
Next most common: color settings or driver issue
Less common: monitor or GPU hardware fault

If you can test with another monitor or cable, that’s the fastest way to pinpoint the cause.

When my internet starts running slow, I usually go through a few basic checks before assuming it’s a bigger issue.

First, I restart my Wi-Fi router and my device. This alone often fixes temporary network glitches or overloaded connections. I also check if other devices on the same network are using too much bandwidth, like video streaming or large downloads, because that can slow everything down.

Next, I move closer to the router or switch to a wired Ethernet connection if possible, since weak Wi-Fi signals are a common cause of slow speeds. I also make sure there are no physical obstructions or interference from other electronics.

On my computer, I sometimes reset the network settings or forget and reconnect to the Wi-Fi network. If I’m on Windows, I also run the built-in network troubleshooter to detect and fix common issues.

If the problem continues, I check my internet speed using an online speed test and compare it with what my ISP is supposed to provide. When speeds are consistently low, I contact my internet service provider because the issue could be on their side or related to my plan.

In most cases, the issue is either Wi-Fi congestion, router problems, or background apps consuming bandwidth, and these steps usually help me narrow it down quickly.

There isn’t a single “best” graphics card for 1080p gaming in 2026, but I usually narrow it down based on performance vs value rather than chasing the most powerful GPU available.

For 1080p at high or ultra settings, I’ve found that modern mid-range GPUs are already more than enough. At this resolution, the goal is typically stable high FPS, good VRAM headroom, and efficient pricing rather than raw power.

If I’m building a system focused on value, I tend to look at mid-tier cards from both NVIDIA and AMD’s current generation lineup. These generally handle most AAA games at ultra settings smoothly, while also being efficient enough for competitive esports titles at very high refresh rates.

For more “future-proof” 1080p gaming, I personally prefer a GPU with:
      – At least 8–12GB VRAM (more is better for newer AAA titles)
      – Strong performance in rasterization (real-world gaming performance)
      – Good driver support and long-term updates
      – Reasonable power draw and cooling efficiency
      – Pricing that doesn’t push into unnecessary 1440p/4K territory

If I had to summarize my approach, I wouldn’t pick a GPU based on maximum power—I’d pick the one that offers the best long-term stability and value for 1080p gaming without overspending on performance I won’t actually use.

The “macOS installation couldn’t be completed” error can occur for several reasons, including insufficient storage space, a corrupted installer, disk errors, network issues during installation, or an incorrect system date and time.

A good first step is to restart the Mac and try the installation again. If the error persists, boot into macOS Recovery and use Disk Utility’s First Aid feature to check the startup disk for errors. Also make sure you have enough free storage available for the installation.

If you’re installing from a downloaded installer, consider deleting it and downloading a fresh copy, as the installer itself may be corrupted. For older macOS versions, verifying that the system date and time are correct can also help resolve installation failures.

If none of these steps work, reinstalling macOS through Recovery Mode is often successful and typically preserves your personal data, though having a current backup is always recommended before making major system changes.

If your Chrome browser is starting to feel slow, pages are loading weirdly, or things just aren’t behaving normally, clearing the cache often helps more than people expect.

You can do it directly inside Chrome without any extra tools. Just open Chrome and go to the settings menu (the three dots in the top right corner). From there, head into Privacy and security, then look for Clear browsing data. You’ll see options for what you want to remove—make sure Cached images and files is selected.

After that, you can choose the time range. If you’re not sure what’s causing the issue, selecting “All time” is usually the most effective. Then hit clear data and let it run.

One thing to keep in mind: clearing cache won’t delete your passwords or bookmarks unless you specifically select those options, so it’s generally safe.

After doing it, the first few websites you visit might load a bit slower than usual, but that’s normal because Chrome is rebuilding fresh cached data.
