Recently when I was using Instagram I noticed my DM turned into black screen. Could anyone please tell me how can I resolve it?

If your Instagram messages start showing this black screen out of nowhere, it’s usually because of a short lived app hiccup, a bug from a recent update, or some sort of trouble with the app’s saved cached data.
There are a couple of things you can try, like really basics first:
Try force closing Instagram, then open it again.
See if Instagram has an update waiting in the store.
On Android, clear the app cache. On iPhone, reinstall the app if needed.
Restart your phone, just in case.
Confirm your device operating system is current and not behind.
Also check if Instagram is having a broader problem, like an outage that is impacting DMs.
If this started right after you updated Instagram, then it might be that the app needs to patch that bug in a later version, because yeah, it can happen.
