How can I check how much VRAM do I have on my PC?

I want to check how much VRAM (Video RAM) is available on my PC because I’m trying to understand whether my system can handle gaming, video editing, or other graphics-intensive tasks properly. I’m not sure where to find the exact VRAM details on Windows or whether the information should be checked from system settings, graphics settings, or the GPU software itself.

Can someone explain the correct way to check the total VRAM on a PC and how to identify the dedicated video memory being used by the graphics card?

You can check your VRAM pretty easily on Windows.

Right click on your desktop → Display Settings → Advanced Display → Display Adapter Properties.
There you’ll see “Dedicated Video Memory,” which is your total VRAM.

You can also check it from Task Manager:
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc → Performance tab → GPU.
It will show total VRAM, shared memory, and current usage.

If you have NVIDIA or AMD software installed, their control panels also show detailed GPU and VRAM info.
