I want to know how to remove an email account from my iPhone. I am not sure whether deleting the account will only remove it from the Mail app or if it will also delete my emails permanently. I need a simple explanation of the correct steps and what happens after removing the account.
To delete an email account from your iPhone:
1. Open Settings.
2. Scroll down and tap Mail.
3. Tap Accounts.
4. Select the email account you want to remove.
5. Tap Delete Account.
6. Confirm by tapping Delete from My iPhone.
What happens after deleting the account?
– The email account will be removed from your iPhone.
– Emails, contacts, calendars, and notes linked to that account will no longer appear on your device.
– Your emails are not permanently deleted from the email provider (such as Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo). You can still access them by signing in on another device or by adding the account back later.
