How do you create folders on a mac?

Hey everyone, I recently started using a Mac and I’m still figuring out the basics. One thing I’m confused about is creating and managing folders in macOS. I know it’s probably simple, but I’d love a beginner-friendly explanation on how you usually create folders, move files into them, and keep things organized on a Mac. If there are any useful shortcuts or tips that make it easier, please share them too. Thanks!

Creating a folder on a Mac is pretty simple. In Finder, navigate to the location where you want the folder, then either right-click and select “New Folder” or use the keyboard shortcut Shift + Command + N.

You can also create a folder directly on your Desktop using the same methods. Once the folder is created, just type a name for it and press Return to save it.
