Is there anyone who could tell me the reason behind I am seeing burn marks on my MacBook pro screen?

      If you’re noticing burn marks, or like image retention on your MacBook Pro screen, the first thing to do is check if it’s real screen damage, or maybe just some temporary image retention thing. Try a simple restart, and then keep a solid white or gray background on screen, just to see whether those marks still show up.

      If the marks don’t fade after a bit of time, then it’s pretty likely a display problem, and not really something software related. A few common reasons are stuff like leaving static images on for too long, pressure damage from keys or bags, heat exposure, or plain panel aging over the months.

      If your MacBook is still within warranty, or you’ve got AppleCare, I’d suggest you have Apple take a look. If you don’t have coverage, a screen replacement might end up being the only lasting way to fix severe burn marks.
