I’m new to the Nintendo Switch and wanted to know the different ways to charge the Joy-Con and Pro controllers. Can they charge while attached to the console? How long does charging usually take, and are there any official accessories or charging docks recommended?
Got it. Here is exactly how I charge mine without any of the extra noise:
For Joy-Cons: I just slide them onto the sides of the Switch while the console is docked or plugged into the wall. It takes about 3.5 hours. Just make sure the Switch is in Sleep Mode, not turned completely off!
And for Pro Controller: I plug a USB-C cable directly into the top of the controller and run it to the Switch dock. It takes about 6 hours, but a single charge lasts me forever.
That is literally all you need to know to keep playing!
