How to check what Windows operating system do I have?

  • 0
  • 0

I want to find out which Windows operating system is installed on my computer. I’m not sure whether I’m using Windows 10, Windows 11, or another version, and I’d also like to know the edition and system type (32-bit or 64-bit).

What are the easiest ways to check this information on a Windows PC?

If you want to check which Windows operating system you are using, there are a few simple methods. The easiest way is to press Windows + R on your keyboard, type “winver,” and press Enter. A pop-up window will display your Windows version, edition, and build number. You can also check by opening Settings, then going to System > About. Under the “Windows specifications” section, you will find details about your operating system. This information is useful when installing software, troubleshooting issues, or checking compatibility with apps and updates. These steps work on most modern Windows computers and laptops easily.
