I just bought a pair of AirPods, but I’m having trouble getting them synced up with my iPhone. I previously used a different device, but now that I’m trying to set these up as my primary pair, the setup process won’t complete correctly.
Is there a specific way to factory reset these or a configuration step I might be missing to get them recognized as my own?
Any help would be appreciated!
To connect AirPods to an iPhone in an easy way, first make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your iPhone. Then open the AirPods case near the iPhone and follow the on-screen setup instructions.
Steps to Connect AirPods to iPhone
1 Unlock your iPhone.
2 Turn on Bluetooth from Settings > Bluetooth.
3 Place both AirPods inside the charging case and open the lid.
4 Hold the case close to the iPhone.
5 A setup animation should appear on the screen.
6 Tap Connect and follow any additional instructions.
7 Tap Done once the setup is complete.
If AirPods Do Not Connect
1 Press and hold the setup button on the back of the AirPods case until the status light flashes white.
2 Restart Bluetooth on the iPhone.
3 Make sure the AirPods are charged.
Extra Tips
1 AirPods connected to one Apple device can automatically sync with other devices using the same Apple ID.
2 You can rename your AirPods from Bluetooth settings after connecting.
