I recently purchased an Alexa-enabled device and would like to connect it to the internet so I can use its features such as voice commands, music streaming, and smart home controls. I am looking for simple step-by-step instructions to connect Alexa to a Wi-Fi network and troubleshoot any common connection issues.

To connect Alexa to the internet, it’s actually pretty simple.
First, make sure your Wi-Fi is working on your phone.
Then open the Alexa app and sign in with your Amazon account.
In the app, go to Devices, select your Alexa device, and choose Wi-Fi settings.
Put your Alexa in setup mode (usually by holding the action button until the light turns orange).
Now pick your home Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and wait a few seconds.
Once it connects, Alexa will say it’s online and ready to use.
If it doesn’t connect, usually it’s just the wrong Wi-Fi password or weak signal.
I use Google Assistant on my phone and would like to enable Dark Mode for a more comfortable viewing experience, especially at night. I am looking for simple step-by-step instructions on how to turn on Dark Mode in Google Assistant and any settings that may affect its appearance.
