You can get filters and visual effects on Google Meet (previously Google Duo) directly during a video call.

      Here’s how:

      1. Open the Google Meet app.
      2. Start or join a video call.
      3. Tap the screen once to show options.
      4. Look for the Effects or Filters icon (usually a sparkle or smiley face).
      5. Browse filters, masks, backgrounds, and AR effects.
      6. Tap any filter to apply it instantly.

      If you don’t see filters:

Make sure your phone supports AR effects.
Some filters only appear on mobile devices, not desktop.

Google Duo was merged into Google Meet, so older Duo features now live inside the Meet app like a tiny digital costume closet.
