I think I might have been banished to the shadow realm because a friend’s profile completely disappeared from my chat history. If I search their exact username now and see absolutely nothing, am I officially blocked?
What are the actual signs to look for before I officially start panicking? Help a friend out!
The first symptom to look out for Snapchat not delivering notifications to let you know when someone blocks you is checking the search bar on your account to see if their username is still available. In other words, try to search for their username and if it no longer pulls up, this can mean the user is no longer following you. You also may want to go back through the conversations that you have had with that user in the past to check their Snap Score as this should always display in your recent chats with them if the person is still your friend on the app.
Also check to see if the other individual’s Snap Score is displayed under their username in addition to making sure you can access their profile.
If you suddenly find that you cannot, this also likely means the individual blocked you from their profile and in addition removed you from their friend list. This is not a guarantee of anything because, although unlikely, the person simply may have decided to disable their account, delete their Snapchat account entirely, or changed their Snapchat username. So the most surefire method for you to confirm if an individual blocked you on Snapchat would be to look at there account from another device or user to ensure that is actually available, and to determine if they indeed did block you from Snapchat. Because of privacy rules Snapchat will not inform anyone that another user has blocked them from an account and has done away with their account completely.
huh! BLOCKED 😥😥😥😥😥😭😭😭
