If your iPhone’s flashlight is on, there are a few easy ways to turn it off.
The quickest method is to open Control Center and tap the flashlight icon. On iPhones with Face ID, swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen. On models with a Home button, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
You can also turn it off directly from the Lock Screen by pressing the flashlight button in the lower-left corner. On newer iPhones, you may need to press and hold the icon briefly.
If the flashlight isn’t responding, try restarting the iPhone or checking whether the Camera app is currently using the flash, as that can sometimes affect the flashlight controls.
