I would recommend the Epson EcoTank series if you’re just starting with sublimation printing. Models like the Epson EcoTank ET-2800 or ET-2850 are popular because they’re easy to convert, produce sharp prints, and have a low ink cost.
If you want a printer that’s already made for sublimation, the Sawgrass SG500 is a great option. It costs more upfront, but setup is simple and the print quality is excellent for t-shirts, mugs, and other custom products.
For most beginners, an Epson EcoTank offers the best value for money.
