Internet Explorer flags are special hidden settings or command-line options used to enable, disable, or test certain browser features and behaviors.
They were mainly used by developers and advanced users for:
Testing experimental features
Debugging websites
Changing rendering behavior
Adjusting security or compatibility settings
Similar to Chrome’s `chrome://flags`, Internet Explorer had configuration flags through:
Registry edits
Group Policy settings
Command-line switches
“Internet Options” advanced settings
Example:
Enabling compatibility mode
Disabling script debugging
Changing security zone behavior
Since Internet Explorer is discontinued, these flags are mostly legacy and rarely used today.
