A White spot on the screen of your iPad Air will almost always be hardware-related. The White spot will look like a small blob of concentrated light or a “washed out” area of the screen that is evident when the display is white. It happens from a press from some item in behind the LCD of the screen that is a commonly reported problem with several iPad Air units. If it becomes noticeable or distracting, the screen may require professional repair or replacement.
