I am finally getting ready to upgrade my setup, and almost everyone I talk to keeps telling me to skip Intel and look at AMD instead. (But I think otherwise😅))
I’ve always been an Intel user, so I’m a bit out of the loop😤. What exactly does AMD do better these days? Is it better for gaming, better on the wallet, or just more power-efficient?
I would love to get your simple breakdowns on why you’d personally pick AMD over Intel right now. Thanks!❤️
If you’re mainly gaming, AMD is hard to beat right now because it offers excellent performance, especially with CPUs that have extra cache, while often using less power. It also tends to provide better value for money and keeps the same motherboard platform supported for longer, making future upgrades easier. That said, Intel is still a great choice, particularly if your workload includes video editing, productivity, or you find a good deal. In the end, it really comes down to your budget and what you’ll use the PC for.
Budget is not the issue. Thanks for breaking down the specifications. I was looking for the high-end video editing.
