If I were choosing an Xbox today, I will go with the Xbox Series X because it’s Microsoft’s most powerful and feature-rich console. If you’re looking for the latest Xbox generation, it’s the Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S, both released in 2020, with refreshed versions introduced in 2024. The Series X is the flagship model, offering true 4K gaming, a disc drive, and more storage, while the Series S is a smaller, more affordable digital-only option.
If you want the best performance and plan to play the newest games for years, I’d recommend the Xbox Series X. If you’re on a budget and don’t mind downloading games instead of using discs, the Xbox Series S is still an excellent choice.
