What windows operating system do i have?

I need to check my exact Windows specifications to see if my PC is compatible with some software I want to install. The problem is, I honestly have no idea what version I’m currently running.

Is there a fast keyboard shortcut or a specific setting I can look up to find my exact version and build number without digging through a million menus?

Thanks in advance!

You will find the exact version of your Windows operating system by simply pressing Windows key + R, typing winver, and then hitting Enter. Your screen will pop up with the details of the version and build number of your Windows system. If you need more information regarding your Windows version, you can head over to Settings > System > About. There you will find your Windows version, build, device name, processor, RAM, and system type.
