My monitor has suddenly started showing a black area on one half of the screen, while the other half displays normally. The issue remains visible even after restarting the computer.
I’ve checked the cable connections and restarted both the monitor and PC, but the problem persists. I’m not sure whether this is caused by the monitor panel itself, the display cable, the graphics card, or some other hardware issue.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem? What troubleshooting steps should I try to determine the cause, and is this something that can be repaired, or would the monitor need to be replaced?
