Hey! It’s highly likely your school’s IT department finally caught on and blacklisted it. Most schools use automated network filters like GoGuardian, Securly, or Lightspeed. When a specific URL, especially a Google Sites hub like Unblocked Games G+, it starts getting a massive spike in traffic from student accounts during school hours, it triggers a red flag for the network admin, who then blocks it district-wide.

Here is a quick way to test it and a few workarounds you can try:

      1. Try opening the exact same link on your phone using mobile data. If it loads on your phone, the site is perfectly fine, meaning your school network successfully blocked it on your laptop. If it doesn’t load on your phone either the creator might have taken it down, or Google deleted that specific directory.

      2. Since that specific G+ link is likely burned for your network, here is what usually works to find an alternative. Look for GitHub Mirrors. Network filters are brutal with Google Sites, but they often leave GitHub completely untouched because students need it for coding or tech classes. Try searching Google for unblocked games github.io to find games hosted there. Also check the Chrome Web Store. If your school hasn’t locked down extension installations, search the store for browser-based arcade or puzzle games. Because they run as local browser extensions, they often bypass web filters completely.

I know exactly what happened here, and honestly, it drives me crazy when it happens to me by accident! You most likely bumped a weird keyboard shortcut and triggered a split-screen glitch or an accessibility tool.

Here are the quick tricks I use to get everything back to normal instantly:

      1. If your screen is split horizontally and the top half looks giant or blurry, you accidentally turned on the Docked Magnifier.
To turn it off right now, just press Ctrl + Search + D. Pressing that combo again will instantly snap your screen back to one normal piece.

      2. If your windows are glued side-by-side and refusing to budge when you drag them, they are locked into ChromeOS split-view.
I usually break them out of this by clicking the Maximize button in the top-right corner of one of the windows. That forces that window to take over the full display and kills the split-screen layout.

      3. Another shortcut I love for moving stuck windows is holding the Alt key and tapping the [ or ] keys. This manually forces the active window to snap to the left, right, or back to the center, which usually unsticks it from that weird split-screen loop.

When black lines stay on the screen even after a restart, it usually means there is a hardware problem. If it were my Mac, I would use two quick tests to figure out exactly what is broken before taking it to a repair shop:

One. I always tell people to plug their MacBook into a TV or an external monitor using an HDMI cable. If the black lines do not show up on the TV, your computer’s internal brain (graphics card) is perfectly fine but your laptop screen is physically broken and needs to be replaced. If the lines do show up on the TV, it’s a software or graphics card glitch.

Two. Try slowly opening and closing your laptop lid while watching the lines. If they flicker, change colors, or disappear at a certain angle, the internal display cable (the flex cable) is likely pinched, loose, or torn from years of opening the laptop.

Honestly, if the lines survived a restart and show up in Safe Mode, the screen itself has likely failed, and I highly recommend booking an appointment at the Apple Store to get the panel replaced.

P.S. I couldn’t understand the explanation of your question, “Curious about the reviews you’ve shared on Google? Access your Google profile to see, edit, or manage all your reviews anytime.” Please don’t spam.

A flickering screen is usually caused by a loose connection, a software glitch, or an incorrect setting. Here are the quickest ways to fix it:

One. Unplug your HDMI or DisplayPort cable from both the back of your computer and the monitor, then plug it back in firmly. A slightly loose cable causes instant flickering. If you have a spare cable lying around, swap it out to see if the old one is failing.

Two. If you are on Windows, press Windows Key + Ctrl + Shift + B all at the same time. Your screen will blink and make a quick beep sound. This instantly restarts your graphics software and often stops random blinking.

Three. Plug a completely different device (like a gaming console or a different laptop) into the monitor. If it still flickers, your monitor’s internal hardware is likely failing and needs to be replaced. If the flickering stops, your computer’s graphics card or software is the issue and needs an update.

      Also try these steps:

Windows: Go to Settings > System > Display > Advanced display and ensure your refresh rate is set to a standard number your monitor supports (usually 60 Hz).

Mac: Go to System Settings > Displays and check the Refresh Rate dropdown.

Every MacBook Air comes pre-installed with macOS, Apple’s proprietary operating system.

If you want to run other operating systems on it, the rules changed completely when Apple switched from Intel processors to their own Apple Silicon (M-series chips like the M1, M2, or M3) starting in 2020.

Here is how Windows and Linux work on modern MacBook Airs:

Windows (Virtualization Only): You cannot install Windows natively anymore. Apple completely removed the old “Boot Camp” feature. However, you can run the ARM-based version of Windows 11 incredibly fast using a virtual machine app like Parallels Desktop or UTM. It runs smoothly right inside a window on top of your Mac desktop.

Linux (Virtual or Native): You can easily run any Linux distribution inside a virtual machine. If you want to run Linux natively directly on the Mac’s hardware (“bare metal”), a community project called Asahi Linux allows you to do just that. Apple actually built a feature into the hardware that allows booting custom kernels, though some niche hardware features like external monitors can still be a bit hit-or-miss depending on your specific Mac model.

If you need Windows or Linux for coding, school, or specific apps, running them through a virtual machine on a MacBook Air handles it effortlessly. If your goal is to wipe the drive completely and turn it into a dedicated Windows PC, you are out of luck.
