The easiest way to take a screenshot on an HP laptop is by using keyboard shortcuts.
– Press PrtScn (Print Screen) to capture the entire screen. You can then paste it into Paint, Word, or another app using Ctrl + V.
– Press Windows + PrtScn to capture and automatically save the full screen. The screenshot will be stored in the Pictures > Screenshots folder.
– Press Windows + Shift + S to open the Snipping Tool and select a specific part of the screen.
– On some HP laptops, you may need to press Fn + PrtScn if the Print Screen key has a secondary function.
I usually use Windows + Shift + S because it is quick and lets me capture only the area I need.
Taking a screenshot on an HP window is too easy. You can capture the entire screen, a single window and a specific area using the built-in shortcuts in Windows.
1. To capture the full screen, press PrtScn. Use Ctrl + V to paste it into Paint, Word or another program, then save it.
2. To capture just the active window, press Alt + PrtScn.
3. To launch the Snipping Tool and choose the precise area you wish to capture, press Windows + Shift + S.
4. To automatically save a full-screen screenshot to the Pictures > Screenshots folder, press Windows + PrtScn.
These keyboard shortcuts work on most HP laptops running Windows 10 or Windows 11, making it easy to capture and store screenshots whenever you need them.
