I missed an important client call while my phone was on silent. To make sure callers could leave messages, I quickly set up voicemail on my Android phone and never missed an important update again.
To get voicemail working on Android, go into the Phone app, then press and hold 1, or tap Phone > Settings > Voicemail. After that just follow the on screen prompts , to make a voicemail PIN , record your name, and set a personalized greeting. If it feels like voicemail isn’t set up yet, you’ll need to type in your carrier’s voicemail number when it asks.
