My Wii controller isn’t connecting to the console. I need simple steps to sync the Wii Remote and start playing again.

To connect a Wii Remote to a Wii, turn the console on. You’ll need to remove the SD card slot cover on the front of the Wii and push the red SYNC button there. Now, you’ll want to open the battery cover on the Wii Remote. Push the red SYNC button in the battery compartment.
Your Wii Remote’s lights will flash for a few seconds before they stop indicating that your Remote has been connected. A solid light on the Wii Remote will also show you what player number your controller is connected to. Should your controller not connect then simply replace the batteries, turn your console back on and try again.
