Hey!, so here’s a quick and easy breakdown. It took me a while to figure this out but it’s actually pretty simple once you know the steps!

      Few requirements first:
      1. Be at a familiar location (Home/Work)
      2. Know your iPhone Passcode
      3. Face ID or Touch ID should work
      4. Be signed into Apple ID

      Now follow these steps:
      1. Open Settings
      2. Tap “Face ID / Touch ID & Passcode”
      3. Enter your Passcode
      4. Scroll down to “Stolen Device Protection”
      5. Tap “Turn Off Protection”
      6. Confirm with Face ID / Touch ID
If at an unknown location, wait 1 hour and then confirm again

      Happy to assist ya!

If you want to turn off Stolen Device Protection, the steps depend on your device.

      For iPhone users:

      1. Open Settings.
      2. Tap Face ID & Passcode (or Touch ID & Passcode).
      3. Enter your passcode.
      4. Scroll down and tap Stolen Device Protection.
      5. Toggle Stolen Device Protection off.
      6. If you’re in a familiar location (such as your home or workplace), it may turn off immediately.
      7. If you’re in an unfamiliar location, Apple may require a Security Delay (usually about one hour) before the feature can be disabled.

Keep in mind that Stolen Device Protection is designed to prevent unauthorized access if your iPhone is stolen, so Apple adds extra verification steps before allowing it to be turned off.
